Pat Duke
Owner, Director and Sponsor. Pat Duke has a keen interest
in all types of motor sport. As an enduro rider he participated at
clubman level for over 10 years. He has spent his life in plant Industry,
being involved in his own company, Embankment
Machinery Sales for over 20 years. He brings with him a passion
for racing and extensive management experience.
Philip Duke
Owner, Director and Sponsor. Philip
Duke was formerly a keen road rider and enjoyed a couple of seasons in
the early eighties on an Formula II, LC350 Yamaha. In addition to
this he also competed as an enduro rider at clubman level for over 10 years. Philip
has spent most of his working life in the commercial aviation industry
as both an aircraft mechanic and flight engineer. He is currently
the Owner and Managing Director of Road Planing Service and
brings with him key skills in management, financial control and administration.
Eddie Laycock
As Team Manager Eddie over sees both
the Irish & European
racing teams,Eddie himself is a household name in motorcycle racing circles,
Eddie has to be the most successful racer to come out of southern Ireland,
with wins and lap records at the ISLE OF MAN TT , NORTH WEST 200, ULSTER
GRAND PRIX to name a few, Eddie finished his racing career as a 500 grand

John Preston
Team Coordinator John
has been involved in motorcycle racing in Ireland for more that 20 years,
as a clubman rider, scruitneer,
and mechanic.he has spent all of his working
life in engineering. in 2002 he was kindly granted leave of absence for 8 months
from his cork based employers, A. R. Brownlow, to join EMS Racing on their
first European Championship assault, due to the teams success & its plans
for the future John has subsequently joined EMS Racing full time
Gerry Brennan
Team Mechanic Gerry
is an Electrician by trade and an ex-motorcycle racer. Gerry retired
from racing at the end
of the 1999 season and has competed in the
Irish, British & European Championships in the 125cc & 250cc classes
through a 20 year career.
Better known for his exploits on the pure road circuits of Ireland & IOM
TT where he has achieved a lot of success. Gerry took the role of mechanic for
EMS Racing in 2001 with the aim of using the experience gained over those years
for the benefit of the young up & coming riders associated with the team. |
